Trafoi Val Venosta

Trafoi Val Venosta (German Trafoi) is one of  Stelvio hamlets, Gustavo Thöni’s birthplace; this athlete is still a legend. After having retired from sport, he dedicated himself to tourism, opening its own hotel in South Tyrol. During your holidays in the mountains there’s even the possibility of training with Gustavo Thöni exploring the Trafoi surroundings, an important ski resort. Trafoi altitude is 1570 meters and hosts the Stelvio National Park visitors center, which illustrates the ability to adapt to the mountains climate of plants and animals. The tourism tradition of Trafoi Val Venosta started in the XIX century already and it goes on till nowadays, fuelled also thanks to Gustavo Thöni!
