Curon Val Venosta
Curon Val Venosta (German: Graun in Vinschgau) is a very famous holidays destination in South Tyrol…thanks to its bell tower out of the water! This landscape is always one of the most photographed in South Tyrol. In the 50s, the original village of Curon Venosta was immersed by the waters necessary to build the barrage; the artificial lake is so harmonic with the rest of the landscape to be one of the most popular holidays in Italy destinations in South Tyrol. Here it’s also possible to play many sports: Nordic Walking, trekking and cycling in summer; it’s possible to cross the lake by boat, calling directly at the bell tower. The extreme sports fans spending their summer holidays in South Tyrol in Curon Val Venosta will surely appreciate the kitesurf!
